Citizen Science Population Project for historical Tyrol (Y-DNA, mtDNA, min. ½ autosomal DNA). Modern South Tyrol, Nord Tyrol, Trentino, East Tyrol. The Research using Genetic Genealogy and broader methodology and tools is focusing on

• Y/mt-DNA Phylogeny and Haplogroups: (pre)genealogical matches, TMRCA (time estimates to common uniparental ancestor) and ancient origin.
• Autosomal Admixture and DNA origin: modern and ancient relatedness, main goal to find the genetic ancestral populations before the records revealing them (new Medieval settlements and farms, Migration period, Roman time, Iron Age and even earlier).
